Small Tactical Optical Rifle Mounted (STORM) Engineering Change Proposal (ECP)
Abstract
The AN/PSQ-23 STORM Micro-Laser Range Finder (MLRF) is a weapon-mounted multi-function laser system. It provides an eye safe laser range finder, digital compass, Infrared (IR) and visible aiming lights, and an IR illuminator for far target location with continuous range, accuracy, weight and power performance enhanced capabilities. Funding supports qualifying smaller, lighter, cheaper STORM variant (STORM SLX) with Soldiers.
