27) Global Biosurveillance Technology Initiative (GBTI)
Abstract
The Global Biosurveillance Technology Initiative (GBTI), formerly funded under the Next Generation Diagnostic System (NGDS) is an ongoing effort transitioning from BSV technology to fulfill requirements with expanded capabilities of lab equipment (technologies) lending new, unique and emerging surveillance capabilities for both existing labs as well as new labs.
