Malware Detection
Abstract
Develop tools and capabilities to detect and classify malware in avionics software and firmware to preclude their introduction into avionics systems and, in the event of a system breech, develop capabilities to operate in the presence of the threat. Activities in this area are focused on developing a feature set indicative of deceptive or malicious behavior that will be used in conjunction with machine learning algorithms to detect zero-day attacks on avionics systems.
