SDTS
Abstract
The funding increase from FY15 and FY16 funds Self Defense Test Ship (SDTS) Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance requirements. The funding increase from FY16 to FY17 supports the work package development and purchase of long lead items for the SDTS drydock scheduled for FY19. Planned work includes ultrasonic testing of the hull, stern tube seal repair, main propulsion shafting repair/replace, fuel oil tank refurbishment and a myriad of other HM&E systems repair or upgrades.
