Soldier Lethality
Abstract
This effort funds manufacturing technology and processes in support of individual Soldier weapons, provide Soldiers with enhanced capabilities, and increase their ability to respond to emerging situations through advanced manufacturing processes with a concentration affordability and producibility. Work focuses on addressing challenges in areas such as multifunctional fabrics for shelters, uniforms and portage equipment; lightweight materials for body armor; and medical technologies such as biotechnology.
