Combat System Integration Testing (CSIT)
Abstract
This program funds Land-Based Test Sites to conduct integration testing for the Ship Self Defense Mark 1/2 Integrated Combat Systems at NSWC Dahlgren, VA and at Wallops Island, VA as well as the Advanced Combat Direction System (ACDS) Block 0/1 and FFG Combat Direction System testing at Combat Direction Systems Activity Dam Neck, VA. Combat System Testing (formerly known as SEA05H Warfare Systems Integration and Interoperability Testing (WSI2T)), is essential in the identification of critical combat systems integration issues. CST also provides Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) for warfare certification decisions to support installation and deployment approvals. OPN/OMN funds support the maintenance and upgrade of the test labs to provide an integrated test environment similar to shipboard configurations in the Fleet. Funded under Combat Systems Certification Support of Platform Certification in prior years.
