International Programs
Abstract
The United States also participates in several international programs of cooperation regarding nuclear weapons with foreign governments and regional defense organizations that involve unclassified and classified information exchanges. In general, these agreements are designed to promote safety and security, advance stockpile stewardship and collaborate in counter-proliferation efforts.
