Structural Armor Materials

Abstract

Conduct applied research to design and evaluate lightweight armor materials and structures, investigate novel processing methodologies for cost effective manufacturing, and use existing and emerging modeling and simulation tools to enable formulation of lightweight, frontal, and structural armor materials for current and future platform applications.
