Collaborative Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Predicting Enemy Course of Action (ECOA) (CAPE)
Abstract
CAPE is an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled decision support software for predicting enemy course of action (ECOA). CAPE introduces a unique Decision Centric Architecture (DCA) not currently found in fielded systems and advances symbolic plan recognition, semantic networks, and mixed-initiative reasoning that facilitate human-machine teaming while automating ignorance identification and request for information generation. In FY 2023, CAPE developed a software prototype, reusable software libraries, and a software development kit that accelerated third-party artificial intelligence integration.
