Preventing Malicious Cybersecurity Activity
Abstract
Provide: FISMA-related activities; Intrusion Prevention Systems; Trusted Internet Connections; Identity Management and Authentication; Supply Chain Management; Network & Data Protection and Insider Threat Mitigation Activities. This effort includes integration and test capabilities for element interface verification and provide operations and sustainment of the deployed Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Last Mile integration capabilities at Missile Defense System locations. Recurring Activities for Preventing Malicious Cyber Attacks: - Maintain a current Cybersecurity risk and residual risk assessment of the Missile Defense System. - Coordinate Cybersecurity compliance for all IT projects and remote sites. - Implement measures to prevent unauthorized access to MDA Information Systems based on analysis of threat vectors. - Evaluate known threats against vulnerabilities to determine mitigation strategies. - Expand User Activity Monitoring and implement technology protection to improve cybersecurity, insider threat, and software assurance posture of the Missile Defense System; and provide increased ability to detect insider threats. - Recapitalization of Data Center/IT, addition of server/storage capability to support Top Secret level processing. - Implement Mission and RDT&E Software Assurance and Development Security and Operations (DEVSECOPS) tools and processes. - Conduct Cyber Threat Hunting for classified Defense Industry Base (DIB) and Missile Defense System environments. - Optimization of MDA Integration and Operations Center Infrastructure Special Use Space - Coordinate with private partnerships to ensure the DIB protects MDA data.
