Sensor Tape

Abstract

The Sensor Tape program developed and demonstrated a low-cost, one-time-use, low-power, band-aid size, adhesive-applied blast dosimeter that records accumulative blast effects for integration into combat medical care. Significant technical obstacles that were overcome include achieving adequate switching frequencies, packaging, print-on ink technologies and production costs. Sensor Tape is transitioning to the Air Force and Army.
