High Reduction Ratio Transmission (HRT)

Abstract

This effort will mature and demonstrate the technologies necessary for development, design, fabrication, and testing of a high reduction-ratio transmission in two stages or less (60:1 reduction ratio) with high efficiency and improved reliability against corrosion and seal leakage. Technology demonstrations from this effort will be applicable to FVL platforms.
