KC-46 Aircraft Product Development
Abstract
To begin re-capitalizing the aging tanker fleet, EMD activities will be conducted to include the following types of activities: develop a commercial 767-2C aircraft upon which the KC-46 is based; develop the KC-46 military capability and integrate it into the aircraft; build four EMD aircraft; procure live fire assets; procure required Government Furnished Equipment (GFE); procure simulator and maintenance data; develop technical manuals and Type 1 training; and conduct development and operational testing.
