Automotive Research Center (ARC)
Abstract
The ARC is an U.S. Army Center of Excellence for Modeling and Simulation of ground vehicles. The Center relies on the collaboration of researchers from multiple universities and disciplines to bridge fundamental technology gaps in five research thrust areas of strategic importance to the Army: mobility, human factors and man-machine integration, lightweight structure and materials, power and energy, and design integration. A major integrative focus of these five areas are autonomy and manned-unmanned teaming.
