Dual Capable Aircraft (DCA)(F-35 JSF)
Abstract
This effort provides for the assessment of Dual-Capable Aircraft (DCA) weapon integration and certification impacts on the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) aircraft. It identifies and mitigates potential technical and cost risks, as well as defines the integration and certification trade-space to field the DCA capability with the B61-12 weapon. This effort also supports follow-on risk reduction efforts that will ensure future integration alignment with the earliest feasible post-SDD block upgrade, and is expected to include full integration efforts pending Service decisions.
