Hosted Payload Concept Definition
Abstract
Validate affordable business approaches and reduce risk for commercial/hosted payload alternatives such as commercial-based free-flyer satellites, increased military wideband coverage and capacity, and other candidate system designs for hosted payloads on commercial satellites. Conduct risk reduction efforts to provide DoD operating locations for future bandwidth in the V (71-76 GHz) and W (81-86 GHz) range leading towards a commercial or hosted payload demonstration.
