Transformation Capability Initiative - Supply Chain Management (SCM) Supply
Abstract
SCM Supply encompasses centralized planning and management of items and equipment such as: repairables, consumables, Nuclear Weapons-Related Materiel (NWRM), cryptographic items; and comprises business operations and inventory for the Air Force Base Supply community. Note: This is not a new start. The FY15 PB submission included all Supply Chain Management efforts (SCM Supply, SCM Item Master, and SCM Government Furnished Materiel (GFM)) under a single initiative called Supply Chain Management (SCM). In the FY16 PB, the AF divided SCM into three sub-initiatives to provide additional visibility into the specific mission process areas that will be addressed.
