Geospatial and Temporal Information Structure and Framework
Abstract
This effort designs and evaluates geospatial data and information architecture to ensure content and representation of data and actionable geospatial information for operational decision making. Research advances here allow for the automatic inference and correlation between events and objects (i.e., people, places) through space and time from massive datasets. Success in meeting these objectives advances the Army's ability to network the force to achieve information dominance. Elements of this effort develop further as GeoIntelligence - Geospatial Data Generation and Decision Support, and Human Geography - Spatial Reasoning, Analysis, and Visualization in FY17.
