LGM-30G Fast Rising B-Plug Service Life Extension Program (FRBP SLEP)

Abstract

The Fast Rising B-Plug (FRBP) provides a secondary security element to the Personnel Access System (PAS) of the Launch Facilities (LFs). It is a 14,000 pound cylinder with 12 locking pins used to deny/delay access to intruders during LF maintenance activities. This effort will include hardware and software solutions to a variety of safety and maintenance issues affecting the operational wings.
