Discrimination
Abstract
MDA designs, develops, tests, and delivers MDS discrimination improvements and countermeasures mitigation capabilities to address emerging adversary countermeasures. MDA is focused on providing the Warfighter with capability improvements to identify Reentry Vehicles (RVs) within a threat missile complex in the presence of decoys and with advanced capabilities to address other countermeasures. SE&I will lead and integrate the Discrimination program across the entire MDS, establish performance goals for the technology development phase, and develop functional, performance, and interface requirements to address the threat. SE&I will establish ground and flight test requirements, and develop updated high fidelity threat models to support analysis and testing activities. Other activities include: - Perform systems engineering support for discrimination and counter-countermeasures analysis and assessments - Provide technical support for fielding improved discrimination capabilities Specific and/or unique accomplishments to each FY are as follows:
