Improved Lethality (IL)
Abstract
Improve lethality against area targets, to include anti-personnel anti-materiel (APAM) targets. Improvements must meet current DoD policy on cluster munitions and unintended harm to civilians and may be synergistic with maintaining a suitable manufacturing base. While also providing a possible solution for the next generation area attack weapon (NGAAW).
