Neutron Electronic Personal Dosimeter
Abstract
A neutron EPD will show real-time neutron accumulated doses in accelerator facilities producing high neutron yields. Currently, the DT-702 dosimeter is worn, but it must be processed at an off-site facility to obtain a dose report, which are not available for several weeks after exposure. With increased demand of accelerator facility use, the lag time between dose receipt and dose report poses increased risk to personnel safety.
