Omni

Abstract

The Omni project is developing a novel small size, weight and power (SWaP) laser communications (lasercom) system for dismounted units incorporating traditional lasercom features, such as small apertures, jamming resistance and low probability of intercept/detection. In the Omni system, pointing, acquisition and tracking are performed autonomously and are transparent to the user.
