Robotics for Engineer Operations

Abstract

Develop and demonstrate robotic engineer construction equipment capability allowing Engineers to conduct autonomous and semi-autonomous Mobility, Countermobility and Construction missions. This effort supports the Army's Modernization Priority Next Generation Combat Vehicle (NGCV), Maneuver Robotics and Autonomous Systems, and is intended to provide capabilities that enable and increase the effectiveness of future maneuver formations with extended reach (area and time), by enabling increased force survivability by combining manned and robotic teaming in the conduct of cross-domain maneuver in complex terrain while reducing risk to Soldier and units.
