High Performance Small Pixel Uncooled Focal Plane Array (FPA)

Abstract

This effort increases the working performance of both uncooled Longwave Infrared (LWIR) and Shortwave Infrared (SWIR) technologies. Through design and improved fabrication techniques this work increases detector resolution to high definition formats (LWIR-1902x1200 pixels, SWIR- 1280x720), improves sensitivity and image quality to increase recognition and identification ranges while reducing SWaP
