Lethality Materials Technology (formerly named Composites)
Abstract
For FY15, this effort formerly known as Composites is being renamed Lethality Materials Technology to more accurately describe the research being conducted. This effort involves applied research to develop innovative materials solutions aimed at achieving leap-ahead increases in lethality and weapons effectiveness through dramatic improvements in weight and volume efficiency, lethal effects, and sustainability of military systems that can only be achieved through advances in materials technology.
