2) CBRN Decision Aids
Abstract
In order to unencumber the Warfighter at the tactical edge, efforts continue to develop and field CBRN Decision Aids on End User Devices (EUDs) in both connected and disconnected operations. Capabilities will focus on utilizing automation, reducing the burden experienced by the warfighter, while providing accurate, actionable information. During this time period, a focus will be put on developing a Contamination Avoidance Decision Aid to inform the warfighter on how to avoid, respond to and plan routes around CB hazards. Another area of focus will be the development of Autonomous Asset Guidance. This capability will be used in conjunction with other capabilities developed under the CBRN Decision Aids portfolio to optimize the use of Autonomous Assets and reduce the burden incurred by the warfighter in order to operate them. This capability will also aim to incorporate, fuse and utilize data from Autonomous Assets to improve and refine other CBRN Decision Aids.
