Unified Communications
Abstract
Provides for the management, operations and sustainment of classified and unclassified globally deployed video teleconferencing capabilities and equipment. Also includes unclassified desktop instant messaging, wireless services, and collaboration capabilities. Provides and implements engineering solutions for all unified communications services. Supports MDA global RDT&E mission for classified and unclassified voice services and interfaces with the Defense Information System Network Video Services Global, the DREN, and commercial vendors. Includes maintenance agreements and licenses for MDA Enterprise telecommunications equipment classified and unclassified mobile and desktop telephony devices. Integrate CISCO Jabber into the MDA Workplace Next operational environment to support the seamless integration of voice, video and data and enhance the workforce ability to communicate and function without limitations. Support the growing demand for remote (telework) access and collaborations services with the deployment of Jabber allowing for the reduction of communication hardware, systems services (i.e. physical phones, video teleconferences (VTCs), etc.).
