Biological and Bio-derived Materials and Devices Research
Abstract
This effort creates biological materials for devices and sensors that can be used by the Army to improve force protection and reduce logistical burden. Investigates biological construction of novel materials, structures, and processes to develop biologically derived materials, sensing materials, information processing, and power and energy to transcend critical gaps in adaptability, manufacturability, and stability in Army relevant environments.
