2009QRF0008_Mobile Active Targeting Resource for Integrated eXperiments (MATRIX) field demonstration vs. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)

Abstract

The objective for this program was beam control, fire control, and targeting development and enhancements for Airborne Tatical Laser (ATL). Secondary goals included the research and development of a mobile testbed (in a ground or aircraft or future aircraft pod-mounted configuration) for the operational assessment of active and passive trackers, sensors and system components in the development of tracking, discrimination, targeting and progapation of laser beams and of sensor fusion algorithms and concepts.
