Persistent Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Focus Area

Abstract

This focus area helps address emerging needs for persistent ISR capabilities to improve ground, air, sea, and space situational awareness. Projects will address needs identified in 2018 and 2019 through development of prototypes that explore new or improved methods for surveillance sensors to persistently operate within denied areas. This focus area also explores more effective and agile ISR architectures for rapidly processing, exploiting, and disseminating intelligence. QRF will leverage existing efforts and ensure projects are not duplicative with ongoing persistent ISR work within the DoD or with outside agencies.
