Light Anti-Tank Weapon Rocket Motor Insensitive Munitions (LAW RM IM) Improvement (Navy)
Abstract
Test a fully Insensitive Munitions (IM) compliant Light Anti-Tank Weapon (LAW) system to increase overall safety and reduce the severe logistical burden associated with storage and transportation of non-IM compliant munitions. The primary outputs are improved safety for system operator/handler; reduced severity of reaction to IM environments; minimized collateral damage caused by accidental rocket motor initiation; and significantly reduce the logistic burden of transporting non-IM compliant munitions.
