Degraded Visual Environment Mitigation (DVE-M)

Abstract

Develop and mature advanced sensor cueing and flight controls to provide ability to maintain terrain and obstacle situational awareness during all DVEs both aircraft induced (brown-out & white-out) and environmentally induced (fog, rain, snow etc.). Flight testing on fleet aircraft is an integral component of the demonstration.
