Investigation of the fundamental physics of energy, charge, and spin materials with an emphasis on understanding the transport along and across novel designed surfaces and active heterogeneous interfaces to achieve new electronic/optoelectronic device functionalities. Additionally, study beta-photovoltaic and beta-voltaic energy capture.
