Terrain State
Abstract
This effort provides Warfighters with an accurate and timely understanding of the battlespace environment's effect on personnel, platforms, sensors, and systems in order to develop improved tactics, techniques, procedures, and plans that ensure information superiority, situational awareness, and force projection. Specifically, this project seeks solutions for minimizing or eliminating the adverse effects of dynamically changing terrain states on sensing capabilities, engineer construction, and tactical maneuver conducted by the Army.
