Anti-Tamper & Engineering Manufacturing Readiness Level Development

Abstract

This task develops anti-tamper approaches to inhibit reverse engineering of critical technologies, and oversees the use of Engineering and Manufacturing Readiness Levels (EMRLs) to assess BMDS element, component, or system maturity. - Develop anti-tamper approaches to enable international fielding, support coalition warfare, and extend the effective operational life of the BMDS. - Engage and support the Services in understanding and transitioning BMDS Element Anti-Tamper activities. - Participate in Element reviews to assess proposed Anti-Tamper solutions and assist programs in developing and implementing Anti-Tamper detection and response technologies to mitigate risk. - Monitor application of EMRLs to evaluate engineering and manufacturing maturity of BMDS elements, systems, and components. - Assess and report readiness of MDA development efforts for transition to production.
