FIRES, TARGETING, AND MANEUVER

Abstract

This activity includes MCWL experimentation efforts in the areas of fires, targeting, and maneuver including assessment of equipment, new TTPs, training programs, and proposed organizational changes associated with enhanced capabilities. Although this category covers several small (less than $500K per FY) efforts being pursued by MCWL, most programs listed below are considered major (valued at $500K or more) or have near real-time operational impact. The increase in MCWL Fires, Targeting, and Maneuver activity funding from FY 2013 to FY 2014 is due to the pursuit of investigations into weaponized unmanned ground robotic and autonomous systems as well as ship-to-shore connectors.
