Suicide Prevention/Mitigation

Abstract

This effort conducts research to better understand the apparent increase in suicide deaths and nonfatal attempts among Active Duty Soldiers. Improved prevention/intervention methods to be identified for individuals at risk for suicide based on data-driven recommendations. The efforts would be utilized to decrease suicide rates in both military populations as well as in the general public.
