Advanced Cargo Parachute Release System (ACPRS)

Abstract

The ACPRS will replace the existing M-1 and M-2 cargo parachute release and is intended to decrease the number of inoperable payloads due to rollovers, while also providing a capability to airdrop loads at 500 ft Above Ground Level (AGL).
