Autonomous Low-Profile Vessel (ALPV) Project
Abstract
This project designs, develops, and tests an autonomous maritime surface logistics platform prototype capable of transporting up to a 10-ton payload across large distances of the ocean with minimal visibility and possibility of detection. The low profile and low-cost platform provides an innovative logistics solution to support expeditionary advanced basing operations. Prototype development initiated in FY 2022.
