Autonomous Vehicle/Terrain Interactions
Abstract
This effort develops Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities to evaluate autonomous vehicle formation performance on mission-relevant terrain and environments (i.e., soft soil, gap crossing, obstacle override, cold regions, low-light, etc.). This effort develops algorithms for improved manned/unmanned and air/ground teaming for off-road tactical behaviors.
