Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD)

Abstract

The Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) effort provides a consistent, disciplined systems engineering process using a multi-Service systems engineering team to support integration of Joint IAMD systems to provide improved performance and capabilities to the Combatant Commands (COCOMs) and Warfighter. This effort includes systems engineering analysis; development of technical integration and interface control requirements and documents; and definition of candidate Joint IAMD build capability increments and configuration control across the joint systems. This effort was funded by the Air Force in FY 2013-2014, and transitions to MDA beginning in FY 2015.
