Disable Point Target (DPT)
Abstract
Disable Point Target: The DPT will be employed during Escalation of Force (EoF) situations to control individuals by rendering the target incapable of defensive and offensive actions, with no direct contact between the Marine and the target(s). The DPT will incapacitate single or multiple personnel from beyond the range of thrown objects (i.e. bottles, rocks, etc.) with precision.
