Technical Intelligence

Abstract

The mission of the Office of Technical Intelligence (OTI) is to support the ASD(R&E) imperative to prepare for an uncertain future. OTI identifies and assesses potential opportunities and threats, including novel issues as well as persistent problems or trends, to improve strategic direction and strengthen the research and engineering (R&E) portfolio. OTI maintains a robust collaboration across ASD(R&E), the Services, and the Intelligence Community (IC) to provide acquisition decision-makers a relevant awareness of emerging global Science and Technology (S&T) concepts, technologies, and capabilities.
