Operational Unit Partnership and Soldier Touch Point

Abstract

This effort optimizes innovation through Science and Technology touch points with the Operational force, resulting in rapid iteration, concept maturation, integration, validation of laboratory findings, and transition of technologies and methodologies in response to operational unit demand signal. This effort streamlines demonstration, data collection, and technology maturation for near term DOTMLPF solutions, enabling faster delivery of materiel and non-materiel products/knowledge refined with direct Soldier input. This body of work allows validated, empirical, assessment of any equipment capability or training intervention as part of the Soldier architecture to inform future acquisition investments, training, and operational trade space decisions.
