Abstract
Joint Battlefield Healthcare medical technology development will continue to focus on investigating new diagnostic tools and treatments for prolonged battlefield hemorrhage control, how to best diagnose and treat severe neurotrauma from the point of injury to evacuation/enroute care and long term hospital and rehabilitative care, and research into optimizing the system wide movement of patients to different levels of care to ensure positive clinical outcomes.
