Next Generation Advanced Bomb Suit (NGABS)
Abstract
The objective of this effort is to increase the Warfighter lethality, modularity, and mobility, by optimizing Soldier protection and situational awareness for EOD personnel. The mission of this program is to enhance the tactical utility and applicability of this bomb suit concept by incorporating modularity/scalability and sensor technologies that are non-existent in legacy designs. This new, tailorable, full body protective system will provide a significantly increased capability at a reduced weight.
