Vehicle Electronics Architecture and Standards:

Abstract

This effort matures and integrates new electronic and electrical power architectures, technologies and standards for existing and future combat and tactical vehicle ground vehicles. Technical standards such as Vehicular Integration for C4ISR/EW Interoperability (VICTORY, the Army's non-proprietary intra-vehicle data network), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 1588 and Display Port will be identified, evaluated or modified for military ground vehicle electrical systems. This effort also analyzes and designs electronic, and electrical power architectures to support the efficient integration of systems such as intra-vehicle data and video networks, general purpose computing resources, input/output devices, low, medium, and high voltage power systems, and associated software architectures. This effort is coordinated with 0602601A, project H91 and PE 0603005, project 441.
