Combat Identification (CID) Technologies

Abstract

Focus of this effort is to develop and evaluate potentially cost effective CID approaches that reduce fratricide, using non-traditional sensors to increase situational awareness (SA), and increase combat effectiveness of Soldier based and Brigade Combat Team (BCT) CID technologies. Work being accomplished under PE 0603270A/project K16 complements this effort.
