Life Prediction for Metallic Aircraft Structure (AFRL and France)

Abstract

Cooperative project to develop and demonstrate state-of-the-art life prediction approaches suitable for use in aging aircraft applications allowing for more effective system sustainment leading to improved asset availability, reduced maintenance and manpower requirements, and the elimination of technical surprise driven by unanticipated structural deficiencies.
